My Sebring came with these, trim rings, and center caps. I think I am going to paint them the color of the body (T8) and use the black centercaps. Anybody know what these are called??

kinda look like mid-late 70s B-body wheels - i think used on magnums, but i'm no expert on stock wheels

Usually refered to as cop wheels....they were found on later 70s cop cars.

Those are not cop wheels. Cop wheels have the hubcap lugs.
Those are late 70's early 80's wheels that came on Magnums. Very hard to find. You might be surprised to find what they're worth.
The Aspen/Volare kit cars also used a similar wheel, although I believe it was wider and had a textured finish.

You can see the hub cap nubs on those. My vote would be for Super Coupe wheels which used those center caps and had NO provision for hub caps.

I think the Eric to Bruce "taking him to school" score is still about 100 to 1 Eric!

They came with the car from the factory, the weird thing is the normal wheel codes are not on the fender tag, It just says "U" and no number. Another weird option on my car is bucket seats and a column shift.

Wheel codes are never on the fender tag. They are "W" codes and only appear on the broadcast sheet (and window sticker). There are a lot of option codes that don't appear.
The "U" indicates the vehicle was produced for the domestic market.
Bucket seats and column aren't that unusual. The 71 GTX I owned was equipped that way and I've seen many others. I'm sure someone can chime in with production figures.

i think mostly those wheels are off of magnums. the "super coupe" wheels were a wider version at 8" vs 7", and i think there are also differences as it relates to trim rings as well

The U on the fender tag designates the car was built to US specifications.
Are you sure the car came from the factory with these wheels?
