Hey - maybe I'll have to cruise over in the Sebring Plus - cracked windshield and all. Are they going to have a "just barely survived" class? ;)

Dude that car has survived better than LOTS of them, the Sat-A-Lot for example... As I recall it had a cracked windshield too. One that bit!

Hey the Lite is nicer than my Runner any day of the week and I'm goin to bring it just because I can!

Anyway I'm not sure what the categories are going to be.

Just havein some fun. We're keepin it simple this time around.

Dave, we live so close and I drive by your house every couple of weeks for one reason or another. Maybe I will see ya and shake your hand this weekend!

Satellite got her new windshield yesterday, and got a bath and everything this morning, but alas it looks to be a rain out on the day. :( Hey Ctown - is there a rain date planned? BTW, I'm most likely going to be out in the shop working on stuff for Project Blue Bird most of the day now. If you are out my way, feel free to pop in and say hi.

Even with the new windshield, the Satellite isn't rain worthy, though know I know exactly why - a couple medium size holes in the leading edge of the roof (thanks, Mr.Vinyl top!), and one down where the a-pillar meets the cowl. Totally fixable when we do the car, but for now, she's a sunny day only ride.

Strike that - just called up there, guess it's on, rain or shine. Based on what I'm seeing on the radar right now, looks like we've got a few hours of decent weather ahead. I think I'll risk it. Grab a bunch of towels and tuck them in the trunk. ;)

lol i remember when i was daily-driving the satellite in high school i'd have towels in the back seat i'd use, cuz the water would leak in up by the rear view mirror...wouldn't notice it til you went around a corner and got water in your face...got a new windshield, did the same thing, so i took it out and installed it myself, never leaked again

Left about 7:45 with my 71RR, my Bro 70 RR 440+6, 69 Charger SE, and 67 Barracuda SS.

Got set up and started to rain. Club members started to arrive in the rain with there RR, Javalins, Polaras,
Anyway some people came about 10. Still cloudy and damp. One went back home.

Rain stopped cars started to pull in.
Sun came out and we had a great time.

Check it out.

Yea, it was a great day. Of course, with the way the day started, I wasn't thinking sunscreen at all, and came home with burned arms and neck, but it was worth it. Some really neat cars out there, and MOM put on a great show. Looking forward to next year!

Got home last night and finished up the polish work on the Satellite's bright work. I'll get at least the windshield trim on today if I can find my trim tool (still can't find some stuff from the move to the new garage).
