1971 roadrunner sunroof car

i just got my car mostly tore down and found the bad spots the inner fender where the hood mounts and the torsion mounts look thin the very front floors and a hole on the drivers side where the fender brace connects but thats it everything else is nice and solid back frame all of it looks good even the trunk floor is still nice back fenders are even in good shape not bad for being in buffalo NY most of its life. heres my link cause im a dumbass and cant post pics on here http://s673.photobucket.com/albums/vv99 ... oadrunner/ im getting it on a rotissery as soon as i get it i just bought one i was gonna use a friends shop but what the hell i got enough room so might as well take my time get it done right rather then rush to get it out of his shop

That's a very cool car. I hope your plans are to restore it back to original?

yep im going all original even back to the original bahama yellow i may put some disc brakes on the front havent really decided on that yet but everything else is going original

Bahama Yellow is the CCCCCOOOOOOLLLLLLEEESSSSTT color (one of my top 5 of all time)...Awesome. Good luck! :beer:

Cool Car! Welcome to the Mopar family. Like you, I'm getting ready to start restoring my '71 sunroof Bird. Since it's also an ex NY car, it has serious rust issues! Mine was built 15 days after yours at the same plant. Keep us posted as things progress with your Bird.
