I'm loving the site, in fact the first day I found it ended up with me taking the day off work so I could sit here and read posts.... I'm a Baaaad Boy.

But I'm whining now, cause when I try to view an attachement, I keep getting this message:

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Did I do something wrong?

And thanks for all the hard work that goes into this site.

Nope, it's not anything you've done wrong... it's some kinda technical glitch I think Dave needs to address. You're not the only one who's had the problem. Sorry, I haven't a CLUE how to fix it... Dave, are you there?

As of this morning, I've applied the latest updates to the phpBB software, let me know if that fixes it for those that can't see the attachments. I'm going to do some further research into the issue and see if other forums are reporting this issue. Unlike old board, the file attachments are an integrated part of the base software, not an add-on.

o.k dAVE HERE'S ONE. Bruce has posted his art work on the "endorsed vendors" section. When I go there, it says that I don't have permission to view the posts. What's up?

Have an idea, and I need anybody who can't see attachments (or like rr6pak, can't see stuff in Endorsed Vendors) to give me some feedback:

1) Do you have "Behind the Shop" access?

2) Did you have access before the change to the new board?

I'll do some poking around in the security stuff - maybe it's something having to do with that those group permissions.

#2- Depends on "access" Yes, I have access to behind the shop, before and after. I never could read/view Bruces' post in endorsed vendors

Can you see the images on Bruce's thread over in the Endorsed Vendor's section?

I can see Bruce's attachments in the endorsed vendors

I can now see Bruce's pictures when I could not a couple of months ago. I do not have access to Behind th Shop, But I never had access there. I hope this helps. Thanks

Wow there are pictures in Bruce's thread in endorsed vendors.

I have visited that thread many times over the last few months and this is the 1st time I have seen any pics. I thought there must have been a reason that those attachments were kept hidden and figured if I wanted to see them I had to ask for special permission.

For all of you who can now view those attachments in that thread I apologize. Lord forgive me and bless the pygmies in New Guinea.
