The Iola car show is just 45 minutes from my home, so I will be going. Usually it's incredibly hot, and you have the occasional putz that actually leans in and touches your car, but other than that there are a lot of cars and even more garbage vendors. Mopars are few and far between, but I don't mind because you need something to break up the chevy and fords.

Dennis

PS How did you find out about the big show in central WI?

I'll be there. Yep always hot as hell. Not many 71 to 4 b bodies, it's always nice to see some. There is even less in the way of parts for our cars. A couple years ago I found a ford guy that had a green beat to hell console, the only thing that was not busted up was the lower section. He told me that it was well worth the 175 he was asking because anything MOPAR is worth it's weight in gold. I'm not too fond of the mentality that is exhibited by most non mopar car people. That year I was talking to a guy that was looking for Desoto parts. I knew a guy that was into old hemi's from the 50's so I gave his digits to the Desoto guy. He asked me what I was looking for so I told him 71 -72 Plymouth b body, it turned out he had a mint front valance laying on a shelf in his garage. I got it for 20. This year I'm going to write what I'm looking for on a tee shirt.

Steve,

It will be awesome to see you again. I will either have my 72 RR (without a bunch of the interior in it, or my wifes new faded yellow 72 Demon. I hate to hear people whine at the car show because my car is not finished, but I might take it anyway. I will be looking for you. I also look forward to meeting you 440+6.

Hey Steve,

I hope you are going Sunday too.

Some idiot (me), scheduled a parade for Spooner, WI on Saturday. Instead of eating greasy fried cheese curds, I will be stuck with 90 kids in north WI.

Aw ... I'm only going on Saturday (from 9AM until 3PM or so).
I have to get my old cars beer (can) and a chicken dinner!
I guess I will not be able to see all the fine work you've done on your 72 RR!!!!!!
