Road Runner Nest

Been out of a job for a month - still have half the money saved for my 2-stage paint job w/ bodywork but I just can't get enough off side work to gain any ground! Bills are killing me. Little repairs and jobs on the car aren't helping either (although they do contribute to the whole, of course).

I hope everyone else has secure jobs, because right now in this economy, it's a seriously rough road to car restoration unless you have money already!

No job is secure these days...

Times are tight now, and lets not even talk about the cost of health care I feel fortunate to be working...I appreciate everything I have. I hope you find work soon I'm so happy I bought my car when I was single. I really feel bad for some people who are in trouble with mortgage payments, and those who need to sell, but can't.

Nope none are but some are more then others.... jobs in medical side - I dont see that going away anytime soon. Myself our main business is from a military supplier and though I don't agree with most of the last 7 yrs I know they have contributed to me having a job. =/ and making it pretty secure.

Don't get me started on health care!!

My company just recently shut down an entire office and let several people go here in my location. Overall, we've seen more than 50 people let go in the last month, about 10% of the total company size.

You guys see the news, 80,000 jobs lost in March,the most in 5 years.
