That's the second or third '71/'72 I've seen with a '73/'74 hood and I have to agree, they look good on there! :D

I actually always found it strange that such aggressive looking cars as the 71/72 models never had a more aggressive hood as an option (excluding Air Grabber of course, but that's only aggressive when it's up).

Looks cool! I saw another car that did the same thing except that the hood corners didnt line up because of the front valence on the 73-74's not being flat. 8)

My favorite is still the hood with the side strobes going down the fenders - it's just so different from the usual straight striping - but this looks pretty nice! A solid runner, good luck on your auction, man!

Do you mean the tank tracks, stripes that go from the callouts to the fender?

I dont like our hoods on their cars, the 71-72 are more flat looking, more sleeker and lower, with that hood on there it looks out of place to me. :)

I have to admit this looks pretty good. I saw this on a 72 before, but this car makes it look even better. If a person didn't care about being original, this would be very tempting. 8)

Hey Billzilla, it's not my auction, just my hood style. :-)

It looks like it isn't flush in the corners.I like the way those hoods look, but if your gonna do it you better do it right.

Considering that the creator of the 71/72 Roadrunner didn't much care for the 73/74, I wonder what he'd say?

He's probably rolling over in his grave. Already.
