Well, I finally got my 71 Satellite ihome. Talked the fellow into throwing in a set of dual sport mirrors and a RoadRunner hood. Got her in my yard for $1500, I'm pretty happy. Car is a 71 Satellite Sebring Plus, fresh 318 w/air, fresh transmission......now mind you all this engine work was done 14 years ago (the last time this car saw sunlight was 14 years ago), but it still looks fresh. I put a battery in it when i got it home and turned it over, gotta drop the fuel tank and check it out (hoping its in good shape) and I think I am gonna put a new braided fuel line on it and have it running in a few days. Let me know what you think..............oh yea, the last pic is just a sampling of the 2 dozen or so 71/72 Roadrunner and Satellites that he has up there, and most of them (with the exception of mine) are just sitting out just like this black one.........I got the hood off this black one for my car. The following pics are in chronological order from when I first seen it til it ended up in my driveway a few hours ago.

I read up on this gold 318 SSP back when I first bought my gold SS. Nice job! You got a great deal, I think -- the car looks really clean and complete once you get everything sorted out.

Love that black RR. That can't be a high production number car!
