Road Runner Nest

Here's a single NOS sidemarker that just sold for over $400!!!! It's amazing how all over the place these prices are. I remember the full set of NOS lenses on ebay not more than a month ago that only sold for a little over twice this price. Are people out there going crazy?

Fortunately and unfortunately it's capitalism at it's best. The good thing is that the aftermarket companies are stepping in big time to fill the void. I would not be surprised to see if krusinmoons or layson's start reproducing these lenses in the near future.

Next to 50's Chevy's and corvette's mopars are the next highest demand now a days which I think is pretty cool. Unfortunately it's attracting alot of high dollar collectors which arent affected with the usual things in life like lay off's, mortgage's, kid's, pets, etc...

They are already being reproduced by Laysons..

Their housings are crap, but the lenses are ok.

I have mated their repro lenses with nice original housings for a good alternative to NOS.

$400 for one lens?
