Never figured him for a Mopar owner. I wonder when the engine was changed to the 440...

they make it sound likes it's a perfect car!!!

exhaust cut outs, pass. door window handle broken, engine bay looks messy- but outside is perrrrfect!!!
screw clamp on gas tank, tank dented in, where is the filler panel by the rear bumper????

tranny dust cover is missing, orange paint showing through on the bottom of the engine, inside of the doors have a repaint- check the plastic button!

something to watch for!

If it really was a 440, it should have a GTX badge next to it and an automatic transmission, but then I didn't read the E-bay ad too much and Chrysler did do some weird things.

Plus, nice Satellite grille! *LOL* from another post.

Oh, and is that really a '71 and later wing? I mean, it might be, forgive my ignorance.

And what is this rare Hurst package they speak? Shouldn't it be a Pistol Grip style if it's a 4-speed (ball for 3-speed)? I'm no expert, just from what I've seen.

All that being said, I like the car! :D

I see they pulled the ad. I wrote him and told him of the discrepencies. I'm sure I wasn't the only one.

Well, the ad's back with some corrections, but I also noticed he said the console was missing. I don't see any brackets, maybe it never had one.

Nothing beats a standard '73 Road Runner with nothing special about it with a Buy It Now for $52,500:

Should I offer him $49,999 and see if he'll go for it? LOL

That's hilarious dude! I saw that ad but I'm trying not to overdo it with my posts...I do love to beat up on ebay people though. Glad you brought it up instead!

You could really buy a lot of the same "crack" that guy's apparently smoking for 52K! Sadly, I doubt my Mopar will be worth that much for quite a while. Or his either for that matter, lol.

I guess I could sell him mine for $20K. It is a factory big block and four speed after all, and the body's straight. It's less than half of what he's asking!
