Wow, really tough to tell without seeing a grille or something more to help identify it. I'm gonna guess a Facel-Vega? FWIW, they WERE Mopar powered... :D

Hi,

I'm 99% sure its a Bristol 411 Series III. A ridiculously expencive luxury coupé build in England, Europe. They still exist and their newest model ain't pretty!

The Bristol 411 had a Chrysler 383 and later a 400 engine. Quite impressive hood lenght btw!

Interiors with lots'n'lots of real wood, leather and thick, thick carpet.

Did Bristol had something to do with the AC Cobra?

As far as I know, Bristol didn't have anything to do with the AC Cobra.

I'm not too strong in the AC Cobra cars, but as I understand it, AC used to make a small 4 cylinder roadster in England and one sunny day Carrol Shelby was on the phone needing a small, light car for a big, heavy Ford V8! And the AC Cobra was born.

Bristol makes big, heavy, conservative luxury saloons and coupés with US-V8 power. I believe Bristol was the last european car manufacturer to give up full rail-type chassis in their passenger cars. That was sometime in the 90'ies!

Basically they are odd looking and don't make much sence...I'd love to have one:-D

The AC Ace was the basis for AC Cobra. Here's a pic:

Here are pics of the AC Acea-Bristol, which used a Bristol engine. While I can see simiilarities in the first pic posted in this thread, it doesn't seem identical.

Here's the only Bristol 411 pic I could find on a Google search. Unfortunately it's not a side-view to compare to the one above...

Yeah, other than where the outside mirrors are located, this sure seems like it's the car.
