Local car show

Post by aerodynamic » Thu May 10, 2007 6:42 am

Every Wednesday there's a car show at a local strip mall, and I've been pleased to be able to bring my car there the last two shows. Sadly though, Mopars have been scarce. Yesterday there was only my car, a 67 Charger and an extremely ratty 71 Dart. The previous week there was an early Dart. Kinda depressing. It's alright I guess, there's lots of cool cars ranging from street rods to muscle cars to modern wheels like newer Stangs and Camaros. BUT, it would be nice to see more of my bretheren. Anyone else notice this at car shows?

Might just be me, but I've always enjoyed being one of the few Mopes amongst a sea of sameness--Generic Motors and Frauds. That said, I honestly appreciate cars of all makes and models. Just that I'm only gonna OWN Mopars... :D

Never been to the PA show. It's on my "to do before I die" list (along with seeing a live volcano, shooting a machine gun, finishing my pilot's license,
and owning a business). I live in Fla and it's hard to get away, but I'd sure love to go.

Give me a bit of time....as soon as we move down south, I can see me and the OL heading your way, as she was born in Indiatlantic Beach. We'll see about hooking up at some point....

Sounds good!! Been to Indialantic many times. I'm really only about 20 min max from there. A buddy and I once found a torn up life raft in the surf, this was a big one from a French ship. It was full of shark bites, which can't be good.

Brevard County has a nice Mopar show in Melbourne every year. My car wasn't ready so I couldn't make it, but next time I'm going. It would be nice to have other Mopes with me, especially 71-74 b-bodies.
