I need everyones help PLEASE

Post by fourforty6pac » Mon May 07, 2007 10:14 pm

Last week my son went to the emergency room at the hospital. They told us he had pnumonia. They gave him some antiboitics and sent him home.He felt worse after a couple of days so he went back to the hospital. After a barrage of tests they found out that he had an cyst on his upper left lung. Today he had major surgery and they took out a hunk of his lung. We thought it would be an hour for surgery, it took 4.5 hours. Then came to tell us that he has some kind of fungus on that lung. Its pretty bad. They couldnt close him all the way up because they will most likely have to go back in. Through out this whole process the worst thing that could happen did. It all started when he just started a good job at a leading race engine builder. He got sick a couple of days and they gave him the boot, because he was only there a week before this all happened. This kid is only 20 years old.

I am not a religous person, but I am spritual, I do believe in the power of positive thinking. So If you guys could put out some positive thoughts our way we will be thankful. Thanks, Ray

I'm thinking of your family with hope and healing.

I'm a 27 yr RN/Case Manager. PM me if you have questions about the ins and outs of the medical system.

Seek out the Case Manager and Social Worker for your son. They can help along with his Dr. and Nurses.

He will get better!
