Thanks! This is a picture of the car shortly after I brought it home. I had to replace the header panel, the grille and the bumper when I got it. It's actually a factory slant six car but it had a 318 in it when I got it. I have a 383 to rebuild to put in it.

/6s were about the most dependable engines in their day....you just couldn't break them!

My coworker friend when I was 19 (back in 1984) had a 3 on the tree manual trans 1971 Satelite Sebring.
I've never seen another one since.

I had a 69 Valiant that had a /6 in it and it still goes, but I wouldn't want it in my Satellite. The car leaves in a week to get media blasted, and then its off for bodywork and paint. I'll post more pics as the work progresses.

A friend in highschool drove a duster when it wasn't cool to drive a duster. And his father told him he couldn't get a car until "that one blowed up"....so we all (the crew) went to a friends garage on a saturday night and drained all of the oit out of the "SLANT SIX" and cruised for a good couple of hours.....around the local drive in and the mall.......the fella got nervous and bought some oil and filled it back up......LOL we thought that car was surely toast.
I remember seeing the car for several years....never blew up....you would think any engine without oil would blow up after an hour or so.....but maybe slant sixes are supernatural.......oooo
anyway...awesome SS....good luck
