hi, i hope that i am welcome here because, to be honest, my car is not a roadrunner, but a 72 satellite that has been cloned to be a roadrunner (see picture). i think it is a prettty decent clone, because it's not the usual "let's put some decals on it" clone, but has a 440 engine, the roadrunner hood and even the 11" drum brakes in the back that were, as far as i know, only available on roadrunners i know it has the wrong grille for that year but i am working on it

. i bought the car on ebay.com 3 years ago, flew from germany to alabama and took it to germany. since then i have done a helluva lot of work on the car, for example a complete restauration last year when the car received it's original color again, which is GY8, Gold Leaf Poly. i drive the car as much as the gas prices in germany allow me to (imagine 8$ a gallon), but this takes its toll (rust), which is the reason i found this forum in the first place – but i will ask tech questions later

Welcome! Yes, your car is welcome here, cuz this site is for ALL the '71-'74 Plymouth b-bodies, not just the Runners and GetXs...
Very sweet car! I'd love to see pics of that car in typical traffic over there. I bet it really stands out in the crowd of Fiats, Bimmers and Mercs!

i have to admit that i never ran the car full throttle on the autobahn … 110 Miles an hour was the Max … other than that it's pretty 50/50 to drive a car like that. you get a lot of attention, but we have a lot of tiny roads, and parallel parking is a must. my manual steering lasted exactly 5 before i yanked it out again
