But it's not even a concept, right? Just some magazine's "what if..." idea.
I wouldn't give it any more thought because you're gonna be disappointed or waiting forever. Just drive your current Runner around and be happy.

but i have 71 gtx not rr :

I'll rephrase: "Just drive your current two-door '71-'74 Plymouth B-body and be happy."
But "Road Runner" is a generic name for "Belvedere, Satellite, GTX", at least in *my* mind! Kind of like "Kleenex".

Then you mean "Just drive your current Kleenex around and be happy.

Once again, I'd buy that thing in a heartbeat; however, it's ironic because if you look at the original drawings of what they were going after for the 1971 body style, we now have the technology to make it so (within the confines of federally mandated safety standards, of course), and it looks nothing like it. That being said, I think it looks better (styles change with time), but it's certainly not close to the original concept. Again, that's not a bad thing.
And I don't get why Mopar purists would be enraged if it's a "Chrysler Cuda" or a "Chrysler Road Runner". Big deal. Plymouth is gone, and I don't think they need to resurrect the name for one car. Are people really bothered by such trivial things? It's not like it's a "Buick Road Runner" or a "Chevrolet Road Runner". Sheesh! It's still the Pentastar!

Ahh, my friends, don't forget...resurrecting the Plymouth title opens the door for....wait for it...Barracudas, Hemicudas, GTXs, and...Superbirds? Might I also add, you 71/72 guys think your cars are worth money now? There's a whole slew of young guys who have no idea about the cars this concept is based on. They'll want to know. This is what's happening with the new Challenger.

I think you hit the nail on the head. We need a boost for our cars. Lately I have seen the prices start to drop just a little. I'm sure the prices will level off for a while but, as always Mopars will continue to appreciate like they have done before.
I like the looks of the new road runner except for the tail lights. I what to see more of this. It would sweet if they would actually make it.

This ought to be interesting. I think they need to chop the top about 3 inches though.
