West Salem WI car show

Post by bandman » Thu Jun 21, 2007 11:23 pm

Just a few pictures from the show.

The first picture is of a nice 72RR that was just purchased in southeast WI. 400 4Spd that looked very original. The guy actually had a friend tell him those were the wrong stripes for a 72 RR. He had a plymouth badge in the front instead of a RR head, so another guy was telling him it was a satellite. I told him to enjoy his car and do some research.

This charger was awesome. It had a general lee next to it. You can't really tell but his car was described as a General Grant. Flag on the top, the number 50 on the side. SWEET

This last picture is the group of guys I travel with to the show 136 miles one way. The yellow rr is my brothers. The blue one is our local Mopar God that runs his family's chrysler dealership here in town. His dad sold the car new and Russ picked it up not too many years ago and got it back to being road worthy. He has had it at Mopar Nats. The RT is his son's car. The Bronze car is the only hemi in the group. You can almost see my 72 rr in the stall next to my brother's 70.

It was a nice all mopar show.

I'm afraid that car wouldn't be too welcome around these parts.

Mopar71,

The green RR is not mine. I think his name was Brad or something like that. I think he had all the paper work except for a build sheet, I am jealous.

Pictures of my RR are further down the discussion board under the subject of new wing. It is in the paint shop now. It's a lot like waiting for Christmas day except I am getting a B5 blue gift.
