American Icon: Muscle Car
Did anyone see the American Icon: Muscle Car show on the Velocity Channel the other night? They had an episode on '71 Mopars that was pretty good. Although, I wasn't too happy with one of the comments on the '71 Road Runner: "Looks like a land locked tuna with its chin kicked in". They showed a nice GTX and a Petty Blue RR.

Yup - saved it on my DVR, too.
That comment didn't impress me either. Otherwise it was pretty good. Anybody know the EV2 Hemi RR with louvers that they had on there? Had the black and orange interior too. It was a bit too much orange for me but that thing is LOADED with options.

Sounds like spoiled grapes to me
You and I know damned well which cars garner the attention out in public. They were ground breaking then and still have no equal. I guess I just wasn't made for "Square" thinking or cars. BORING...

Yeah, if I remember correctly, that car also had a build date in October. They were saying it was a Halloween car. I also noticed that that petty blue car is going to be made into a 1/18 die cast soon.RoadrunnerSteve wrote:Yup - saved it on my DVR, too.
