Bumper question

Post by moparmike » Mon Jun 27, 2011 8:41 pm

Well today my lovely wife got distracted when she pulled into our driveway and ooooooooooooops   hit my SSP in the front end

It received a small ding in the bumber  what can I do to fix it ???? it is not a big ding but enough that I notice it but then again I am looking for it

Boy the look on her face  when she came into the house and told me

Anyway she was shocked that I was not really angry
Sometimes I get to feeling that if Xmas, Fathers Day and my Birthday did not exist, then aftershave too would not exist.

Ah Heck, Mike. I can top that! I took my Superbird once over to my folks house to show them the car. My dad wanted to go somewhere. As I started backing out of the driveway. A car was coming down the street, so I had to stop. The horn didn't work on my Superbird. I yelled and yelled at my dad. But he wasn't paying attention, and didn't stop. Yeah, he totalled the nose on it with his big ole' Lincoln. A big hammer, and a lot of bondo repaired the nose. Didn't even put a scratch on the Lincoln.

OUCH that musta have been tough to take the good news is that I was thinking about having both bumpers rechromed now I have an excuse to do it. Hard to be mad at the person who encouraged me to buy the car in the first place

Yeah, you could say that I was sort of upset at the time. But you'll reach the point down the line someday where you can smile about it, and maybe even laugh. At least you have an excuse now for spending the money!
