MY NEW TOY!!!

Post by Hotwheelsjr » Sun Apr 24, 2005 1:47 am

Thanks to moparmarks (on Moparts.com), here is my new toy!! I shot up to Clifton, CO last weekend and picked this baby up from Mark. I pulled all of the boxes and parts out of it this weekend and cleaned it up a bit so I could take some pics. With out further delay...here are some pics.

'73 SSP, 400/727/8-3/4, bucket interior, RR hood, ralleye dash, etc... All original sheet metal (except pass fender...was damaged and replaced), ZERO rust ANYWHERE on this beauty. Still maintains much of it's original paint and is prepped and nearly ready for a repaint. Everything seen missing in the pics is in boxes and ready to be re-assembled. GOD, I LOVE THIS CAR!!!

Hey Nick...I'm going to clone it as a RR and see where the future takes it. I've been looking for a 71-74 RR that wasn't going to break my bank and this one fit the bill. I'm not a big numbers matching/correctness fan, so it'll be built to look the way I want it. I'm thinking about snagging a flat hood, cutting a hole, and having two fours sticking through on top of either a blower or tunnel ram!!

BTW...those wheels and tires on your GTX are KILLER!!
