71-72 sets are small and painted on Plymouths and chrome on Dodges.
73-74 are the larger ones and are chrome for both makes.
Also the turn signal wires are short for the fender ones and long for the hood mounted ones for 71-72 style.

I just watched my Dukes of Hazard (first season) DVD this weekend and Daisy is driving the 73/74 RR in the very first episode called "one armed bandits". The photo were she's diving into the drivers window is taken from that episode. I don't know when she drives the 71' Satellite? Season two? Doesn'...

How about the movie "Love and a .45" They drive around in a 1972 Road Runner. Even mention it a few times were the police are looking for a blue 1972 Plymouth Road Runner! Horibble movie though. Last American Hero: a movie about a guy who wants to drive stock cars. It has actual race footage from th...

I remember seeing that car for sale about 4 years ago in the Dakota's? It believe was a 4-speed 400 4v EV2 Tor-Red car. For some reason I believe that is is ...

Did you have your rear bumpers rechromed or exchanged them for a another 1972 rechromed bumper with a core exchange? Your car came with the front and rear bumper guards (option M85). So are you saying the black plastic strips that surround the tail light for 1972 are not there but the holes in the b...

There is no way to tell how many were made with a combination of options. Like GY9 and 4-speed. You can say 327 4-speed 1971 GTX's and (?) GY9 1971 GTX's. Someone here should be able to tell you how many GY9 1971 GTX's were made. Dave's paint production numbers are for the entire Satellite line of c...
