Hmmm, well if you adjust the carpet does the it flatten out? If not it may have been formed funny and the best bet is to use a heat gun and reform it to your cars floor pan. When I laid my carpet I took it out of the box and placed it in the car for a week before I trimmed and tried to fit it. This took out most of the waves.
